A wonderful writer/director Nora Ephron died in New York at the age of 71 years. She has long struggled with leukaemia, but failed to win.
Condolences to the family, friends and fans of the Director had already expressed New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. According to him, death is a terrible loss for Ephron-the world of art.
Nora was nominated three times for the Academy Award for best screenplay for the film "Silkwood" "when Harry met Sally" and "sleepless in Seattle". In her paintings often were the brightest stars, for example, in a recent "Julie and Julia: prepare the happiness prescription"-starred Meryl Streep, Amy Adams and Stanley Tucci.
