Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir has declared war on Southern Sudan, vowing to crush the power in Juba as insects. According to the "Xinhua", the statement was made against a background of military escalation on the border between the two countries.
At a meeting of the members of his party in Khartoum, Sudan's president, said: "From today, our motto - the liberation of the citizens of Southern Sudan from the power of "the People of the Sudan Liberation Movement" from now on, our motto is - eye for eye, tooth for tooth." Bashir said that they have committed a moral error, allowing the "People's Liberation Movement of Sudan" to rule in the south, but this bug is fixed.
According to Radio "Liberty", the president of Sudan has also threatened to crush the rulers in Juba as insects. Southern Sudan gained independence in a referendum in July last year – after years of armed conflict with the authorities in Khartoum.
