The new Government of Syria, which was formed recently, was an Armenian. According to a list published on the Agency's site of Sanaa, the Minister of State for the environment appointed Nazeera Farah Sarkis.
23 June, President Bashar Al-Assad formed a new Government. All key ministers retained their posts.
The new Government included the former head of the Ministry of defence, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
