23-year-old former Liverpool footballer died of cancer

Former defender of the English Liverpool and Real Betis 23-year-old Miki Roque died on June 24 after a long battle with cancer. Two months after the player was discovered the disease (March 2011), he underwent surgery to remove the tumor in the pelvic area. However, the disease is still progressed.
We remind that the Spaniard at the age of 15 with the youth team of Liverpool youth won the FA Cup. At 17 years old he made his debut for the first team in a match against Galatasaray in the Champions League. The following two seasons he spent on loan at Betis. 
A few months after he was diagnosed with cancer, he announced the end of his playing career.
